If you've just joined or renewed your annual membership remember you receive a complimentary Song Club online session! We welcome members who'd like to audit a club without presenting a song! (Register and send an email with AUDIT in the heading requesting to: info@newyorksongwriterscollective.com )
The goal of the Collective Song Club is to create a nurturing space for songwriters, artists and producers to present their works in progress, completed songs and productions as well as ask questions about the music business. Vetting songs about to be recorded will give you one more moment of clarity and reflection before you spend energy and dollars on your recording. Song tempos and keys can be discussed as well as best possible producers and vocalists for your project.
The cost of each Song Club session remains $25. You'll find all instructions after registering for joining the meeting and sending a song MP3 and lyric sheet (unless you are performing live!) If the demand exceeds the 10 participant limit, a list will be created and those who missed out on the first Club will be first to join the next session. Every Song Club is recorded and participants receive a link to download the next day to be able to review comments!

IN THE ROOM: Songwriter Pro Sessions, a new one-to-one consultation service from the New York Songwriters Collective — giving members direct access to acclaimed hit songwriters, producers, and creative consultants who’ve written the songs we all know and love.
Our inaugural session featured Ellen Shipley, the acclaimed songwriter behind some of pop’s most enduring hits — including “Heaven Is a Place on Earth” and “Circle in the Sand” (Belinda Carlisle), "Body and Soul" (Anita Baker) “Love Is Holy” (Kim Wilde), and songs recorded by Laura Branigan, Pat Benatar, and Jennifer Rush. Ellen shared stories from her remarkable career, creative insights from her collaborations, and tips for taking your songwriting to the next level.
